ATTN: Rev. Phleger

From Rev. Phleger's controvesial sermon(emphasis mine, transcript from here):

…to address the one who says, “Well, don’t hold me responsible (gesticulating) for what my ancestors did. But you have enjoyed the benefits of what your ancestors did and unless you are ready to give up the benefits (voice rising), throw away your 401 fund, throw away your trust fund, throw away all the money you put into the company you WALKED INTO BECAUSE YO’ DADDY AND YO’ GRANDDADDY AND YO’ GREATGRANDDADDY–(screaming at the top of his lungs)–UNLESS YOU’RE WILLING TO GIVE UP THE BENEFITS, THEN YOU MUST BE REPSONSIBLE FOR WHAT WAS DONE IN YOUR GENERATION ‘CUZ YOU ARE THE BENEFICIARY OF THIS INSURANCE POLICY!

In the spirit of accepting responsibility for the actions of one's ancestors and "generation," I would like Obama, a member of the Luo Tribe, to accept responsibility for the actions of Joesph Kony, a fellow Luo.

Here's a pleasant tale
about Kony's Lord's Resistance Army. This part might sound familiar:

They kept on beating us and they denied food or water from us. We complained saying we were hungry and thirsty. They stopped raping the women that were in our group and acted as though they were going to let us eat and drink. The ladies were forced to boil water in a big tin.

Shortly after this they announced that we would eat the government soldier - supposedly, me.

What is it about central Africa that makes people want to eat each other? I just might have to read this book and try my hand at figuring it out.

klaos-out.
