I decided to see how much of the Stuff White People Like list applied to Obama. Here are the initial results:
- #100 Bumper Stickers - Stamp And Shout offer the ultimate bumper sticker for white people, it's got a feel-good political message, and implies travelling. Declare your citizenship in Obamanation!
- #99 Grammar - Thankfully for white people, Joe Biden learned early on, the pitfalls of complimenting Obama's skill as an orator. Remember white people, it's "great speaker," not "articulate."
- #98 The Ivy League & #81 Graduate School, - Obama attended graduate school at Harvard, just like his father (I guess he got his degree in Sheep-Herding).
- #83 Bad Memories of High School - In his autobiography, Obama reveals some very bad memories of high school, unfortunately, his peers don't always remember things the same way.
- #40 Apple Products - This one is a no-brainer.
- #70 Difficult Breakups - What breakup was more difficult than Obama, who went from "It's not you, it's me" to the political equivalent of filing a restraining order against what he thought was his soulmate, Rev. Wright.
- #62 Knowing What’s Best for Poor People - Obama takes #62 a little further than your typical white person. He not only claims to know what's best for poor people, he claims to be have been one!
- #56 Lawyers - Obama is a lawyer.
- #12 Non-Profit Organizations - Obama worked at a non-profit as Community Organizer.
- #20 Being an expert on YOUR culture - I bet Appalachians had no idea their bitterness drove them to such horrible acts as attending church.
